Nitin is a Digital Transformation expert and led many large scale transformational programs across various functions of Investment, Retail and Corporate banking, Quality and Testing. He is a seasoned Business and Technology pacesetter with 29 years of experience across blue chip organizations: Citi, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, JP Morgan and Mashreq Bank, UAE. Nitin is currently the Head of Business Technology at Mashreq Bank based in Dubai, UAE.  

 

A strategic thinker and leader, he has an excellent track-record of leading and managing high performance teams to deliver complex projects in large Technology & Operations environments with multi-country, multi-site presence. He takes a relationship driven approach with business leaders, strategic suppliers & employees to harness global talent.

As a strong practitioner of quality excellence, his success story at Barclays was a primary focus on a global scale, to aggressively reduce the cost of testing, increase the quality of testing and enhance customer experience.  He managed an 1100+ strong Testing Centre of Excellence teams across 8 locations, continuously developing meaningful metrics and managing a budget of £60 million.

 

Nitin holds an MBA from The Ohio State University, USA where he topped the course (Weilder Scholar) and a Bachelor of Commerce from Hindu College, University of Delhi, India.

 

He is a speaker and panelist at various industry forums for CIO on Banking and Technology. Nitin has been awarded The CIO of the year for last two years since his entry in UAE.
